Replacing the PAS box

Postby MUster » Wed Feb 17, 2016 7:20 pm

H,I m currently restoring an IsuzuMU and the steering gear shaft broke a cog, therefore I need to replace the complete box. I cannot find steering boxes locally , but I found a reasonable priced one from the UK....however it was nit salvaged from an MU but from an ISUZU TROOPER 3 DOOR ESTATE 3.0 SWB DT (1998),will it fit my MU 1990 2.8?

Somewhere around that date they changed to rack and pinion. if its still a conventional box it will fit a photo or measurements of the new box would help
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
