Speedo Problem Ubs55

Postby QtrainIsuzu » Sat Feb 18, 2017 3:09 am

Hey guys.

Ubs55 speedo cable?

I have been dissconecting my speedo every now and then ( offroad use & cbf with logbook ) via pulling the plug out of the back of speedo cluster. And then simply pluging it back in whenever needed.

This time round, with the wire/plug, plugged back in, my speedo will not work. I am pretty certain i have plugged it back in correctly.

My thoughts are:

-Cable snnapped somehow?

Or the plug is worn out where the cable connects into back of speedometer?

Anyone had same or simular problem?

I will investigate further later on today

Cheers Qtrain!

the plugs on the back of the cluster are very brittle from age, i have never had a cable break nor had a speedo cluster fault, best to pull it out and inspect as you said you were going to do, i should have a cluster and cable around somewhere if you get stuck
