92 tranny in 96 bighorn?

Postby dryalls » Sun Sep 17, 2017 9:22 am

Hi Team,

Quick question which hopefully doesn't open up a can of worms.
I'm in the process of swapping out the tranny on my 96 bighorn due to it being cooked. I have a tranny out of a 92 bighorn sitting here so thought i'd throw that in however I have noticed one of the plugs that go through to the engine bay is different.
Has anyone done this conversion? and if so was there some changes needed to the electrical side of things to get around the different connections ie. swap the TCM or modifying of the loom etc?

Any info here will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Dan
