manual locking hubs

Postby skyna » Mon Nov 20, 2017 8:18 pm

I have had trouble with my manual hubs not engaging, I removed hubs vai 6x10mm bolts. I held hubs in hand and turned to lock, spring worked and extented cog, when I turned back to free spring would not retract without pressure being applied, is this normal or should it return to free wheel by just turning ?? any help would be cool

With just the cover thayt is correct. Make sure the slines etc are lightly greased but not too much
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
