Tire size clarification

Postby Renier » Wed Jun 06, 2018 9:29 am

Hi

Just seeking some clarification on tyre sizes I currently have 15x10-44 rims with 31x10.5 tyers this came with the car when I bought it wanting to go bigger and wider on the tyre to avoid unnessusairy side wall wear and possible poping my bead what is the biggest I can go with no cert I have a 2 inch lift so I'd say can fit a 33 easy but will I have trouble with the wof man/insurance

Ps who in their right minds puts a 10.5 tyre on a 10"rim...

33 will be ok as long as the tread is inside the gaurd
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Have plenty of guard room it has 2.5inch after market flares I was under the impression you could only go up 5pct on factory tire size but then read some outher conflicting information don't want to end up on a loosing insurance battle if I accedently sink/drown/roll/loose it :)
