Suspension bushes worn

Postby MU31TD » Thu Jan 07, 2010 11:49 am

I bought my mu about a month ago and it pulled left pretty hard. I then had a wheel alignment done couple weeks ago and it didn't get much better. The alignment guy said that all the bushes are worn and need replacement. That suspension geometry changes in corners and under braking. Steering rack works fine.

After the alignment the car now darts left and right.

Replacing those bushes seems like a D**K of a job cos the bushes are mounted to the chassis nor arms. Did anyone have this problem?

I've found some SuperPro bushes http://www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/superpro.html but they only have listings for Rodeo and Frontera. Just wondering if they have same front suspension?

Thanks any help appreciated

rodeo is the same but stick with rubber if you can. Once the lube washes out of the urethane bushes they squeak for ever more.
The top bushes press into the A arm but dont know on the bottom ones
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Ok then I'll try holden dealer for the rubber ones.

Does anybody know what rodeo model should I refer to for the parts?
