i need a passangers side rear brake caliper for my 1991 mu , i have rang a range of wreckers from brisbane to melbourne and adelade who claim on there web sites that they have mu's but none have and everyone i talk to say there like gold and i really need one of roadworthy can anyone direct me where to get a complete working one or if anyone has one laying around. thanks

try tradme in NZ heaps of mu parts there or just rekit it proberly the same as rodeo or jackaroo kit not to sure which one maybe one of the guys on this site would know.
Have you tried central coast 4x4 wreckers in nsw also there was a guy on gumtree mr spares i think at smithfield sydney was wrecking a mu.

thanks the problem i have is the hand brake on the back of the caliper seams to have snaped the shaft internally and just flops around other then that the caliper operates correctly. you wouldnt happen to have the phone numbers for those wreckers.

Have you had a look at the 91 turbo diesel Jackaroo, I believe they run the same brakes.

cheers for the help central coast and mr spares cant help unfortunatly ive tried to get jackaroo one but there not the model i need available in aus they were not realeased here according to holden dealers i spoke to i may have a lead thou throught www.autoparts.com.au cheers

88 to 91 jackeroo with a disc brake rear will be the same. The later ones had a drum in disc setup which although better wont fit without a grinder

Gold coast 4x4 wreckers has a 94 model black mu and a red mu ute last time i was there...give them a try

If the 94 has the 3.1 engine it will have the wrong caliper. To get the right caliper the chassis no must start UCS55 or UBS55
