The ride really looked good. I liked the MU's in black. It really sucks to see was some A**Hole did to it.

Yeh it's definatly repairable. Picking up the new bonnet today. And I'm picking up the guards over the weekend can't wait to get it back on the road. It was some 15 yr old girl that stole it just waiting on the fingerprinting results from the police to catch her. I have a video of it but I can't work out how to post it aha

It's sad to see that it got shunted, but it's amazing from the photo it doesn't look like THAT much damage. Like it went through a brick fence, you would think that it would be totally f**ked up like a commodore would be. Mind you they don't go as fast haha it's like driving with the handbrake on but their strong little trucks and are awesome off road!

My boyfriends Mu got hit by an idiot driver, she was at fault, her car ended up with $3,200.00 worth of damage, his wasn't even worth $200.00, THAT'S how awesome a Mu is. :P

Vehicle: Got my truck from a man in Jimboomba earlier this year. It's a reliable, re-painted red 1992 2.8l turbo diesel isuzu mu named Big Red. Found out after i bought my mu, is its engine was built in july, same month i was born along with the same year i was born, guess we are a perfect match as my fav colour is red too.

alright its been a while since ive updated this thread.
a fair bit has changed and im now back in a stock mu. its bloody auto aswell :(

i guess il start the update with a pic of the mu with 35" muddies and 2" wheel spacers.
IMG_0390.JPG

IMG_0448.JPG

i abused it like that for quite a while nothing broke but the body was getting very messy. i had cracked the body mounts in the floor.
and the rust was starting to take its toll its unbelievable how quick stuff rusts where i live a new tv or computer will be rusted out within a year.

so off i went to nowra and sourced another mu body. 1100klms later i got home with this

IMG_0572.JPG

so i took the motor out of my old black mu which i had rebuilt and put it in the new auto mu.
was a bit of a pain in the ass converting the fuel pump from manual to auto style but i got there in the end. (thanks to all who offered advice)

so i have no real plans for this new mu. may convert it to manual over the weekend. auto is no fun at all.

here is a few photo's ive accumulated so far

i did have a pic like that but i cant find it.
the yaris's bonnet was lower than the top of the tyre if i remember correctly.
i might try and mount these onto the new mu this weekend aswell.

also the black car is now my parts car so if anyone needs anything let me know. (i will be keeping the window switch's tho)
