hi all, been a member for a few months now and finally got around to taking some photos of my 1992 isuzu mu.
i live in s.a in bridgewater nad have definately become addicted to the 4wding bug and am damn keen to get involved in the club and get out and see more of this fine country!
so here she is:
1992 mu
5sp manual
4jb1t engine

Modifications and Accessories:

Suspension: 2" extended shackles, tweaked torsions.
Body Lift: 2" bodylift
Tyres/Wheels: 33" maxxis buckshot mud tyres on 15x8 sunraysia's
Traction Aids: big ass tyres,lol.
Bullbar: custom home jobby on the way..
Spot lights and Lighting: 4x 55watt 8" roof mounted spotties, 2 x 55 watt 10" nudge bar mounted spottties,55watt halogen super zenon h4 gloves in headlights
Communications/GPS: old cheesy cb radio
Dual Batteries: not yet
Engine: 4jb1t , new belts, custom aluminium 40mm radiator,
Exhaust: stock atm...

Sound system: jvc mp3/ipod player, jvc 6x9's in rear and pioneer 6" speakers in doors
External: rola roof racks, custom roof rack ad-on,home made snorkel, home made shovel mount and custom shovel artwork :), custom front recovery hooks welded into front bar
Internal: stripped rear seats, replaced ashtray with triple cig plug adaptor, fitted boost and water temp gauges to side of cluster, custom noose rear view mirror ornament :)

nah no issues, the wheels just rub on the mudguards on half lock but only in reverse, hoping 2 inch suspension lift will fix that soon...

started building a rear bar to suit a guard chop, dummying it all up on my spare mu..

seat belt webbing and a sewing machine.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

hahaha exactly. i made mine this exact way then made the frame with some tubing and a pipe bender. if you werent in the states id sell it to you as im planning on making a steel replacement...

He He He or is it still MU ti lated..

TOOLS; 80 mtrs winch ability including winch cable, 2x snatch blocks. Snig/drag chain.
Lowerd front diff, Custom Ali front bash pan, Custom Gearbox to Mid Cross member Bash plate.
Rear trailing arm bracing.
Raised spare wheel holder. Highlift jack mount on back door.
Reinforced tank bash plate.

G'day there Haven can you tell me how you attached the rear roof rack, I have a sunroof as well and have been trying to decide wether to drill holes or not, cheers NITRUSS

The roof racks were already installed but yes they are just drilled and riveted into the roof panel. In USA ATM so haven't done any work on that rear bar but she's pretty well finusher, just gotta fill holes, grind back and paint. Bent my rear chassis bar that mount the row bar badly before I left so I'm going to have to straighten and hope it will still be strong enough to take this beasty rear bar and then grow the balls to do the guard cutting on my good Mu...eep
