Nice job on the turbo. What did you use to replace the plastic bit on the inlet manifold?

Thanks! :)

As you can see on the pic I've modified a 180 degree alubend.
Do you know what's recomended turbo pressure on this one? I've charging around 0.6 Bar at the moment

0.6 to 0.8 is a safe pressure

If interested here's some pic's of the condition the car was in... ;)

Had 2weeks of from work just to weld up this car  - had to cut of 4 of 8 body mounts to weld new plate behind and made one new mount rear left side, 2 new mounts for the truck bed, and there was a big hole in the cabin rear left side, just to mention some.

- As seen here there where just a little plate in bottom of the frame that was holding this frame from breaking in half...

lovely work. You definitely saved it from a scrap heap with that much rust. Were not allowed to fix rust that bad in the chassis over here due to the powers that be being afraid of the special heat treatments needed for the high tensile steels used in a lot of chassis
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

A little update, since last time I've done a minor rebuild on the turbo setup, engine compartment and exchanged the front bumper with one from a Opel Frontera.
