Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Now looking for a new motor after my car threw a big end bearing and potentially bent a conrod or crank.

is that how you did it? that angle shouldnt have wreaked your motor though, you will get it going again

Well. Something let go. Sounded horrible driving home. Bucket full of metal shavings in the bottom. then once it got home and i did an engine oil change. It went bang.
