my understanding is that apart from the remote gearshift on the mu the boxes are the same but whether any internal parts need to be fitted to fit the straight sdtick in is speculation

it is a nissan engine and i love them one of the best engines ever made, will put out around 200hp and rev to 7000rpm, get that out of a 4jb1

td42? If its the earlier one or built from factory as a turbo I have to agree they are indestructible. Not sure about 7000rpm though. Would make your bighorn handle funny though.
You can get 200hp out of a 4jb1 but not sure how long for though. Takes lots of money. they are only a little bit over half the size. If I was building a boat I would use that engine or an isuzu truck engine.

smaller offset on the rim maybe? Other people running 33s no issue but not silverstones
I cant see an issue trimming a little off there as long as it looks tidy

there is but most are lots bigger.
Diesel doesnt get fiz boat drivers excited but so cheap to run and will run all day on a tank full.

to be honest i know of mine and one other in nz, that are small diesel jetboats, to be hones its just as fast as a 308 or 350 chev hamilton fibreglass boat, it really suprised me, as for the fuel it likes drinking that but it cheap :D

other reason none around is you cant buy anything for them, had to make watercooled exhaust manifold, had to turbo it and modify injector pump, make heater tank, made the intercooler, wiring, everything is custom, buy a 350 chev or lexus and can buy everything off the shelf for them
