Hi all,

2.6ltr engine seems to don't want to go,

would an sports exhaust system help ?
where's the best place and price to get this here syd west area ?
'just got quoted by carline $880 is that cheap or to dear'?

also lowering it,
where could i get those lowering block? are they safe ?
are the fronts fine to lower just by adjusting those torsion bars?

cheers :) I would post some photos soon as i learn how to....lol

When people say "engine dont want to go" We think that means dead engine. Im guessing you just mean lack of power. The Rodeo is nearly 2 ton so a 2.6 is working hard in the acceleration stakes but it will still get along at a decent pace. TA sports exhaust and extractors will help but make sure the engine is running right first.
Is your 4wd or 2wd? Lowering blocks work and if not too large are not unsafe but check your local rules before doing this. Adjusting the torrsion bars will lower the front but you will need a wheel alignment afterwards
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

With the 2.6 forget acceleration and economy that said when up and running my 4wd rodeo 2.6 with 32inch tyres would hum along quite happily at 130 (not that I condone speeding)
