Handbrake is a constant battle - although I seem to have worked out the happy medium for both my UBS55s - the handbrake will hold on a hill but it will not stop the truck quick enough from 20km/h or what ever the WOF requirement is these days (My WOF guy and I have an understanding haha)

Nice looking Pig, those Firestone ATX radials can be a bit shady on wet roads but do a commendable job in the muck!

wof requirements on handbrake say stop in distance x or hold on hill gradient x Not both.A lot of 4wds have carden shaft handbrakes that will never pass a stop test and it would be dangerous to try stopping with that type of brake

No it will be fine as you will make to make a custom snorkle for it as they dont make them for ubs55 anymore, disco snorkles are meant to fit but havnt tried mine is exhaust pipe, strong aswell

I think as long as the snorkle is set up for a left hand guard (Hilux/Terrano/Landrover etc) it can be modified to suit. The airbox needs to be modified (I plated off the factory inlet hole and made a new hole on the side facing the inner guard) or replaced with one that faces the right way and you just have to plumb it up to where the snorkle goes through the outter guard - the silicone hoses with 90 degree bends make that job easy. One of my river hacks I used the 1 bend and the straight piece of pipe off the factory bighorn nudgebar to get it through the inner guard and up to the point where it needed to turn the opposite way. Get creative, its easy and fun!
