'96 Holden Frontera Sport

Postby Gazza1904 » Mon Jan 26, 2015 7:57 pm

Description:
Hi all Gary here from Brisbane (originally from Kent, England).
My ride is a '96 Holden Frontera Sport which I've owned for almost a year, during which time I've removed the hard top, relocated the back window and converted it into a ute. The 2 litre motor leaves a lot to be desired so I've just acquired a donor '95 TF Rodeo dual cab with the 4JB1 turbo and 5 speed manual that I will be transplanting over the next couple of months ....

Modifications and Accessories:

Suspension: 2 inch lifted coils with wound up torsion bars
Body Lift: none .... yet
Tyres/Wheels: Sunraysia rims (just fitted off the donor) with 245/70 x 16 BF Goodrich all terrains
Traction Aids: completely standard for now
Bullbar: Modified Holden TF Rodeo steel bullbar
Spot lights and Lighting: IPF spot & spread
Communications/GPS: GME
Dual Batteries: not yet
Engine: 2 litre Opel 4 cylinder soon to be 4JB1
Exhaust: stock for now
Sound system: JVC double din with Pioneer sub and upgraded speakers
External: Removed hard top and relocated rear window with custom frame work to convert to a ute
Internal: watch this space

Looks sweet.

Have a 96 frontera myself and am looking to put a bullbar on it.
What mods needed to be done to the Tf bullbar?

Cheers
Gibbo
I'm only here for the information

Hi Gibbo, bolt straight up but I cut and widened the sides to meet up with the flared arches on the Frontera.
