That's what I was thinking. I'm actually planning on getting this snorkel:
http://www.safarisnorkel.com/snorkel/ss100hf/ss100hf.htm
Seems ideal for me since I end up going through areas or into ravines that have overhanging brush. I don't know how well the normal snorkel intake would stay on in some of those areas.

I have actually seen one of these snorkels on a wizard ( 4 door MU ).
It fits really nice and the guy swears by it. He recons it is better than the standard snorkel.

Hey mate, yea I'm running the divorced wastegate style dump pipe.

It has 2" turbo outlet into 2.5" dump pipe, which the smaller wastegate pipe joins into. Then a flexi joint with 2.5" mandrel bent system to the back.

Will try get some pics tomorrow for you.

Seems I've deleted the template...

I got the flange cut by AutoBend. They had a listing for a Bighorn I think. The one with one big hole for turbo outlet and exhaust.

I got them to make one hole for turbo outlet, following the line on the original template. And then a 1.75"? hole doing the same on the other size - making sure it was far over and low enough to clear the wastegate.

Someone on here was selling some which would cost much less than getting it cut custom for you. (Mine was about $100).

Hmmm that's true.

The oil pressure gauge habits have remained the same since it was put on, and the water temp takes longer to reach temperature, and runs cooler...

I don't think much had to be done...

I got the bracket for new alternator in place of A/C pump made by Motortech4x4.

The old alternator is still in the original place (disconnected), just running the vacuum pump.

I think they said they had to flip the tensioner for the original alternator around.

Sorry I can't be more help, I could try get some pics of the original alternator mountings?

Cheers,
Andy

Hey, I got them from:

P&H Suspension City
11 Haig St
Hamilton NZ

They are the NZ dealer for Lovells springs. The Lovell's website should have a listing for an Australian delaer near you.
For the MU get the HR-15's, not the heavy-duty version as they will be too stiff and not flex enough.
I think they were around $350 for a pair of springs. Also good to replace the u-bolts and bushes too (I got mine from Repco).
I've got standard length greasable shackles in. This setup rides well on-road, around doesn't flex quite as much as my saggy original springs, but I think the lift was worth it.

The front has a 50mm lift, I haven't broken a CV yet, if you go higher than this, or push the truck hard, you'd need to do a diff drop to ease the angles on the front CV's. Of course the diff drop would require certification (x-raying the welds etc). I believe the suspension lift does too.

Cheers,
Andy
