Wbski007,
This the standard light size down in our part of the world, we really need to watch ahead for those pesky Kangaroos and Drop bears which seem to jump out at ya at any time of the night, especially in the cities... .

I was thinking of doing a light bar on the roof with 4 x 170 lightforce strikers BUT I would not use it all that much plus legally, its border line whether the Cops or transport dept would try and fine us,......which by law I think they can.
Both spotties are pencil beans, was thinking about trying/buying the lens cap to spread them but at $30 each I can't be bothered.
The HID version of these?....?.....NOW THEY ARE IMPRESSIVE and so it the price tag,...Around $1000.

Nice rig Chris. You can see why people have a second look at the MU's. when we were on the tip to Inskip Point a little early in the year and took a drive to Double Inland Point people stopped to check out our MU's, Pig75, Monty and our's.

I personally didn't do mine but I watched the guy do it, it looks really easy, the hardest thing to do was the bending of the 4wd selector stick.

The higher you lift it the weaker the cv joints due to the increased angle. The bigger the tyre the bigger the load. 33s are pushing your luck but 32s are normally ok although I have seen cvs snap with 31s
A lot is driver error but the more things against you the more likely the outcome. Things that break cvs Full power while turning and full power with a wheel in the air or spinning. If the wheel suddenly gets traction the stress has to go somwhere and the cv is the fuse in the system

If I was going to design a weak link to save more expensive parts it would be the free wheel hub. Much smaller to carry in the tool box and 10 minute change.
You can have this design feature by simply buying ORC brand free wheel hubs. They break when you look at them sideways

do they have a brand name?
All the aftermarket ones Ive run into have been very weak. Also the rally guys are forever breaking joints
