That falcons all correctly legal as well. Theres a few older comadoors around here with that same engine still reg as petrol., As they had the nissan engine already its an easy swap.

yip, i gues you had a look on carjam geeves ? its certified for this Ld28...

my xb trademe 9.jpg

Not this one, I swoped them because i wanted to tidy up the engine bay and also because the old one done its big end bearings in

PIC_0298.JPG

im rebuilding the old one now (low prioraty) new =big end bearings, crank bearings, camshaft flattend cause its rounded and cant set tappets as its diff on both sides, piston rings, gaskets, injectors, sump, i might get some machining done aswell and also want to get rid of the lip on the bore , its done half a million ks give or take. mayb fuel pump ? if i do the fuel pump il turbo intercool it mayb, new frost plugs, paint the block, new water pump, i got most of the parts at a awsome price on trademe, genuine nissan parts, x machanic was cleaning out shed or somthing, all brand new. so i got most things , im just missing one thing, time.

looks good in those photos slightlydodgy, its pretty average tbh (to be honest) good for kms and age but at the moment im doing some rust work on it, and everytime i sand what looks like a little rust bubble it ends up being a huge whole, il put up a pic or two, the interiour was shocking when i got it and same with engine bay and boot. I re-carpeted the whole thing, new seats new dash parts , new sounds(ovcoarse) and other little things. repainted engine bay, new motor and clutch etc, got the front to pannels pannel beated ( you can c in first photo) now im working on the rest of the body. It badly needs new paint but thats long term because of my budget. cheers for taking an interest everyone

Do they still sell neutech bog. Itwas a fibre bog with steel in it that you had to shape with a grinder then use ordinary filler over the top. That pictuere of your guard reminded me of my old XD that whole piece was rust converter and neutech. Wont tell you about the cortina main pillar and space saver
