thinking of getting a bracket made up and mounting it like the mu does on rear chassis rail. just wondering if its legal to drill thru rear chassis rail on bighorn and mount it that way? i would reinforce chassis rail on the rear with some 5mm plate bolted to it on the inside of rail

from memory there are 3 factory bolt holes each side for mounting a towbar. Pick up these and it will be strong enough
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
