Chassis swap....

Postby varnz10 » Mon Apr 01, 2013 6:44 am

Hey there
Just wondering if anyone has done a chassis swap before? I have managed to bend my one and have been quoted about $2k to get it straighten. I ahve access to another chassis so am considering swapping it out.

Any suggestions on issues I may face would be appreciated.

2k is steep to straighten it, chassis swap is easy just undo everything and bolt it to the new chassis, just contact LTSA and tell them your old chassis number and the new one and they should change it on the system, sometimes you have to have proof of ownership of both chassis

Is there even a chassis number on the chassis?
