16x8 +10 Rims on Rodeo

Postby EJA13 » Fri Apr 12, 2013 6:02 pm

Hi guys,

My uncle has a full set of gu patrol wheels with near new tires, but before I get him to bring them up with him, on his next trip up my way, will they fit my Tf Rodeo?

Has anybody ran this wheel combination before?

Thanks, Jai.

what size tyres
Within reason even the biggest rims will fit if they are fitted with the smallest tyres
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Sorry forgot to state that, they have 285/75, I am yet to do a 2" body lift but will before I put the tyres on, and I have ~50mm t-bar crank.

they might just fit but your gearing will go through the roof, i've got 245/75r16's and IMO thats about the limit with stock diff ratios, even now reverse is way to high and i find myself going back to low range more often than not and for things that i used to pull out of in hi 4

For my 31's to clear with a 2" lift all round I ahve got 15x8 rims but with a -22 or -25 offset, any positive offset will see you hitting the bullbar mounts, id suggest test fitting them to see if they clear

Thanks for all your advice, i have a set of 31's on 15 x 8 -24's, so i might just stick to what i have got and just get new tyres. I didn't even think about the gearing with the bigger tyres  .
