Mu rear bar and body cut

No...changes to your body and chassis due to carnage does not count

Mu rear bar and body cut

Postby SamMu93 » Sun Jun 04, 2017 1:09 pm

So after the last trip out it I have discovered my next modification!
The back of my Mu has so decent damage to the bottom corners just under the tail lights.
What im looking for is ideas and advice from those who have already added a rear bar or trimmed their Mu!
I was thinking of cutting the rear on an angle upwards from the wheel up the the tail light as shown in the sample pictures below.
Heres some pics of some of the ideas I have so far...

body cut like the top picture will require cert and probably a roll bar. The Mu roof is not a bolt on. Pretty sure you can get away with trimming the lower guards though although you may have to fit mudflaps

Cheers Alan, I should have explained that better- not looking to cut the roof just the lower guards that are getting pretty beat up!

Just cut them off at the same height as the back so its all flush, legally it needs a cert but if done tidy you will never tell
