93 UBS69 later model dash swap

Postby mattmannz » Sun Mar 18, 2012 1:50 pm

Anyone know if the dash from the 95 onwards UBS69 when it became all smooth and round will easily swap into the earlier models?

From my quick check it looks like it should but there are no doubt centre console and possible heater type issues to consider.

Anyone know or have pics of both models apart?

Cheers
Matt

first thing to come to mind is airbags New dash might have them and if they are there they have to work. Even without that its a bigger job than you expect. I took the dash out of an old hilman to get at the heater. 10 hours. Repaired the heater core instead of replaced so 2 years later I did it again :(

hey geeves, i am having to replace the heater core on my 92 bighorn! holy moly, is it a big job! Or am i missing something? I've got the standard manual but not very helpful, unlike yourself. lol :)
Also I would like to take the dash off, is that a biggie too? Or should I let sleeping dogs lie?
Once again any response will be helpful.
