Has anyone else struck this?
ubs55 bighorn. The bolt on cross member between the rear of both lower A arms keeps coming loose. More often happens on the left side. Ive taken it off to check for damage in the mounts and its fine. Ive replaced the bolts and nuts with grade 8.8 and nylocks and still found it loose again and able to get 2 turns out of the left hand bolts and half a turn out of the right hand ones. Not sure if being loose is a big issue apart from the rattle but if it fell off it would have a big impact on the stability of the front suspension.

its a support for the bottom suspension arms and so the chassis doesnt twist under load, mine have never come undone, have you tried spring washers? i used 8.8 bolts on my bodylift and snapped 3 of them so yours maybe stretching??

Maybe Im twisting it more than intended. Even with a 50mm lift 32 inch tyres will hit the guards when I try hard. A meter of air under a front tyre and half a meter under the opposite rear cant be good for the chassis.

On my Rodeo, one tube had broken free from the support and that bolt would loosen with time. Once I welded the tube back onto the support, bugger of a job, problem solved.

I also put the jack under the cross member when tightening so it is as tight as possible up on the support
