I have been searching high and low for a replacement for my broken plastic trim piece that holds the tailgate bar for my soft top.
Haven't been able to source one anywhere in NZ and am getting desperate as my top is hardly waterproof without it.
Any idea's or people with one to sell?

reverse engineer one from aluminium?
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

The trim piece also holds the bottom of the actual canopy and the side window- aswell as the tailgate bar.
The tailgate bar lock is the only part that is broken but I have inspected it and put repair in the too hard basket and am looking for replacement.
I have tried emailing people wrecking honda passports and holden frontera's but still have had no luck yet.
I guess I just keep trying!
