Volenteer needed please to fix forum

Postby geeves » Thu Aug 19, 2010 6:36 pm

Hi all
As you have all read by now there is a problem with the logon screen on the forum. This means if you log out you cant get back in. We need a volunteer that has either 2 pcs set up for autologin or 2 browsers on the same pc set up this way.
What we need you to do is to contact me first by pm and I will give you a login and pass that should break into the forum while your normal login is hopefully held open in the first tab. If it fails that browser will not be able to log in till the problem is fixed
thanks
in advance
alan

I can still get on the forum with my iPhone as it is set up for auto login. Unfortunately my pc erases recent activity including passwords once a month :(

The attempt failed causing loss of service to another member. Francesco will be resetting things as soon as he can.

I havn't been able to login since last sunday. I didn't know who or how to contact some one.

Maybe there should be an outside email address we could send a message to if we have problems again.

Just a thought.

Good to be back though. Great job.. Thanks to the admin team!!!

ok my thought wont work for everyone. I assumed everyone knows at least one other member through other groups etc. Last time this happened I had to contact nitedemon to let everyone know what was going on I know him through another club.
So much info in here that you just expect to be there and when you cant get in its gone
