So you are saying that you don't have anything for sale? Not sure what to make of the ad, snorkels are an issue for sure!

Hey all, my trip has been extended by atleast another 4 weeks.. i was in the process of searching for wreckers when i got real busy at work and had to put it on hold...
Now when you say your after a snorkel are you refering to a bonnet scoop or a guard mount snorkel..if its the guard mount i havent seen any here and they can be purchased on ebay easily... if its the bonnet scoop i will be buying as many as i can find...
Yeah tar thanks that'll be great..!

Thanks mate, both I am after, in the process of getting my intercooler sorted and have decided to go top mount, mainly cause they look cool :) I will also be getting a snorkel however might make my own I think (unless I can pick one up for virtually nothing as I am a bit broke at the moment).

Thanks for replying, your on work there?

Hey all, yes here for work until the 10th of May now.. have not seen one snorkel here on a car on the road but looking in the mags i see only genuine safaris.....much cheaper to make them out of the intercooler piping kits available on ebay..or even cheaper and if you do a good job with pvc pipes can actually look very good. i am in the process of the intercooler kit for the 2.8 MU back home but am trying to sorce the Cameo bonnet scoop from what i have seen they are even bigger then the late model MU's they look awesome... really busy still here hopefully get a chance soon to pick a few parts.

Bonkers

Looking for a 4"lift for my RA Rodeo.

These are the PSK kits in Thailand that hve caught me eye. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthre ... 654&page=2

If you could get me a price for the lift, Rear bar, and Porscha brake kit boxed and sent back to Aus that would be awsome.

Other option for the lift is a Skyjacker kit from the states. Still reaserching that one.

Thanks Bonkers, I was chasing a snorkel not a bonnet scoop. Any joy on electric window switches? Reckon you are right with the home made snorkel anyway, I've got a mate chaisng 3" stainless for me atm, I'm also fiddling with a front mount intercooler, I'll be chasing some advice on what to do with the vaccuum hoses if she doesn't start!!

i mite have struck a block here but not sure....i spotted a mitsubishi triton with what looks like a cameo bonnet scoop on it, i asked the guy where he got it and ofcourse he gave me a blank stair a women came and translated and she was tell me that the scoop is around $170 to $200au now that does not seem rite as i have bought some mags here and you can get a full body kit for that price. I have a guy from work whos parents own a wreckers somewhere (what luck) so i will try to get this guy to chase some stuff, The D-max scoop is actually just a cover that goes onto a moulded bonnet so it would be extremely hard to fit. I did manage to snap up an awesome Sard Racing Diesel Boost gauge no vac nice and big(autometre) tonight at a very good price.. He was saying they are now obsolete so was considering buying a few..left my camera cable at work so will post pic later. still struggleing to find time during the day...
