Dump Pipes in 2.5" OR 3" to suit 4JB1T/4JG2T - LAST THREE!!!

Postby BrokenMu » Tue Dec 07, 2010 6:55 pm

ITEM: Mandrel bent dump pipes with divorced wastegate setup to suit 4JB1T and 4JG2T, made from 2.5" or 3" mild steel.

This will only fit motors fitted with the downward facing oil cooler/filter housing.
I myself have a 2.8 motor which had the upward facing filter housing. I purchased a 3.1 oil cooler from from the wreckers and fitted with no troubles. If you're going to do the same, you'll require some 16mm heater hose, 3 elbow joins and 6 extra hose clamps.
If you are struggling to find a suitable oil filter housing, let me know and I can assist you with finding one.

These dump pipes will bolt straight onto your turbo, but they will not bolt straight to the rest of your standard exhaust system. If you're not looking to get a complete new exhaust system, Any exhaust shop will be able to cut your existing system at the appropriate point to mate it up with one of these dump pipes.

Hi Ben, as stated in my other thread regarding the flange plates, I can ship to the U.S. but the postage will be a little more, as long as you're happy to cover the extra shipping, we can sort something out.

Hey BrokenMu,

You can safely disregard the question I just asked in the other thread about the filter fitment, I hadn't yet found this thread, sorry. Have you got any stock atm?

Cheers Glenn

i dont have a downward filter however i have a relocation kit fitted to my filter block, which protrudes upwards from the very base of the block (no cooler) approx 50-60mm, so probably ends up the height of the filter block when there is no filter on it....

will the dump pipe suit my setup or is the gap to fine ???

Hey Haven,

I would very much like to know what filter relocation kit you are using, I was just about to start looking when I read your thread.

Apologies for the delayed responses guys. I've been dealing with a back injury as of late.

Just noticed your thread haven, I can't see why you'd have any troubles fitting a 3" dump pipe in there with that oil filter relocation setup.
