Cant you put a auto out of a TF rodeo 2.8 or a jackaroo in it or just convert it to a 5 speed manual box out of a rodeo even better.
Look on eBay or gumtree always find some thing on these sites.

I be gota 5 speed with clutch pedal & master cylinder sitting ere that I pulled out of a 91 2.8td rodeo. You'd have to find a flywheel & clutch .
I've got the tail shaft as well, was in a 4door.
could send it from Darwin. I was just guna keep it for a spare in case the mu or wizard gearbox let go.

Ps. Gearbox has transfer case , front tailshaft & cross member attached. If your auto is already out then this should a easy conversion..

manual to auto is fairly easy swap.
it will need to have either a crossmember made or new mounts welded to the chassis.

nonetheless. this is a for sale thread.

let the man sell his Whole mu

Why would Mr Isuzu make different chassis for auto or manual?
thought they'd just have mount holes for both....

Well it was different in both of my mu's

auto mounts are about 180mm behind the manual ones

They are different on the wizard and my bighorn. I would of thought it easier to make them swing both ways as well but such is life

So would the rodeo cross member be useless?
or can it be modified to suit?

Thought I would give this a bump, still for sale. Give me a yell if you are interested or want to make an offer. If I can get enough people wanting parts off this, I am happy to part out.

Cheers
