What revs is the engine doing in 5th at 100kph?
Are those diffs 4.3 or 5.3
Like rob Im unaware of 5.3 diffs
Still its a nice truck

From what I can find out online the 2 litre petrol had either a 4.88 or 5.13 diff fitted, the Rodeo that the engine came out of had 4.55 and this is revving a lot higher than that was at 100kmh.

I found the same info about the diffs as well 4.88 or 5.3 ratio with 2 lt engine on a few web sites so could be a 5.3 ratio diffs.

the mythical4.8diffs
Can you please post a pic of the diffs and the firewall plate please.
If they are the 12/10 bolt isuzu diffs then you have given everyone a source for these in Aus and Europe at least
I suspect te 5.1 wont be a full size isuzu

I'll try to get a photo tonight, I know the rear diff is huge and always looked like it was over engineered for such a small motor

Looks like a dana 44 diff with the back plate is removable in the photo so it could be a 5.3 diff ratio after all.
Was it a big job installing the snorkel the one I got had no template with it but it don't look to hard to install on the wizard.

Yeah Turnturn I worked that was one of the codes I found. Stardog mine had no template either, I held the snorkel up to the guard and roughly worked it out and got it right first time.
