I just picked up a factory rear swaybar disconnect system and have fitted it to my lwb UBS69. Pretty straight foward system, the swaybar link has some sort of pin in it that the cable pulls out and then winds back in.
The control module only has two wires for power and reversing them switches the action. Looks like the factorys witch also drives some sort of light but I have just wired it with positive and negative on a 15a circuit.
I did some quick mock ups and it looks like this setup could also work on the front, with brackets for the control module and cable retainer necessary.
The swaybar link has about 175mm of travel in it which is quite reasonable. Will update this thread when I get a second unit and begin fitting it to the front.
