Isuzu Trooper headlights restoration project

Postby davidcassar » Mon Nov 20, 2017 9:21 pm

Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever dealt with the headlight restore projects on an '89 Isuzu Trooper?
Here is the pic of what I've got:

In fact, the lenses are badly scratched and chipped, especially my passenger side headlight.
And I thought I'll just go with the used set off some other Trooper, but then saw this Bronco with a cool set of LED headlights which are also 7 in.

Took the bronco Pic from this source
So decided to ask, what is the right setup for the LED lights on the older vehicles?
Do I just hook them up and that's it, or I have to add an extra inverter or something?
Thanks!
David.

These are a standard size headlight so fitting is easy. As far as I know the led headlights are plug and play but the long distance light isnt that much better than standard
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
