Ivr got a 12mm pump on my Safari. Only running 24psi on safe tune with egts.
Dyno tune in the next month looking forward to that. Looking for the 165rwkw mark if
no higher.
Some TD42s are getting 240rwkw from the 12mm pumps

We play around with a lot of TD42's down here. I have customers running the 12mm pumps with our turbo setups and we are achieving 200+hp quite comfortably on around 20-22psi with a good cooler setup. The power delivery is awesome have boost from 1400rpm and by 2k we have our 18-20psi. Keeps the egt's under control and makes for a awesome tow vehicle :)

Fun job you have by the sounds mate.
Theres a guy in Taranaki with a 250kw Td42. He is sorting cnc ported cylinder head and ground cam
and working with Steve Murch to match a turbo to suit. Plans for 300kw on standard crankshaft to prove
they can do it with safe egts and afrs then detune to around 250-270 rwkw. Crazy stuff but incredibly interesting.

yea they seem to be a tough motor and hold together when setup correctly. im currently building a compound setup for a guy up north atm for a td42 he also has had a cnc ported head and billet main caps etc this is a full on competition truck. current setup runs 37psi we are aiming for 45-50psi with the compounds but chasing a much broader torque curve 1300-4000rpm with alot less smoke.

I built a td42 swb, it has a custom drilled head with extra water jackets, w.i.c, runs 38psi, no wastegate, with 12mm plunger, never been on dyno but can beat my mates 4x4 hilux with a 2jzte in it, they go great
