fuel broblems

Postby belucky » Sat Feb 02, 2019 5:28 am

hi all from a new member, I own a Isuzu rodeo Denver 3.0 td auto 2003 , my problem has developed over the last couple of days ,it will fire up but wont rev , it will tick over fine , but bellows smoke when trying to rev , it has had the egr removed , turbo is fine , I have replaced both fuel filters and the air filter , my question is - is there an electric pump in the tank ? if not I kind of think the suction side of the injection pump is gone, im going to try a gravity feed from a can to the pump in the morning(weather permiting) that will give me some idea , thanks

There are 3 different 3 litre engines. Which one do you have?
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
