Cost of getting one from NZ to India is going to kill any bargains. Roof top tents are not as common here as normal tents are cheaper and in most cases work well enough. Australia etc they are popular as people dont like sleeping on the ground because of the snakes and spiders. I imagine the same situation exists over there.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Rode a Royal Enfield bullet across India over 10 years ago, can't imagine camping anywhere in India even in a roof tent. :lol:
