4JB1-T 2.8 fuel return line/injector leak off

Postby alandis » Mon Mar 09, 2020 10:53 am

Hey there,

I did something dumb and over torqued the banjo bolt securing the leak off pipe to the top of the injector, breaking the brass line. I am having a hell of a time finding a replacement for it, hoping you all might have some ideas on where I may be able to source that part...?

any help is greatly appreciated, im very new to these engines and diesels in general.

Cheers

If you cant find 1 you can get it brazed back together, a 4jb1, 4jg2, 4ja1, 4jh1 return rail will fit your engine, i have lots in nz but that doesnt help you

Probably cant go wrong with that part. Not heard of them before but looks kosher
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
