Getting the best performance from your Isuzu, the in's and out's

i see recon kits on ebay for theses includes liners pistons are these kits any good .anybody used one of these kits .or has anybody had a recon done and what rough cost thanks

2 types of kit. Best is chrome liners and cast iron rings which are same as factory. The other type is iron liners and chrome rings. I believe these need the block to be bored but instructions should be supplied. Whatever you do never use the same metal for liner and ring
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

thanks for that advice the kits look like everything you need are these a big job to do quess there would be some machineing to be done to fit liners etc does anyone know anybody good who can do this type of work thanks

Talk to an engine reconditioner up your way. My take on a job like this is that if you have to ask how its beyond you. Its expert plus on the difficulty scale
