cant help on the cluster. Still 4x4ing although now based in Rangiora. Still have the 94 swb bighorn and now belong to the Christchurch 4wd club. A lot of local 4x4ing is in braided rivers so little mud but lots of gravel and river crossings. For the record when you pick a crossing badly in June and have green water half way up the windscreen it does come through the heater into your lap. Note it was in June and quite crispy
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
