Chinese turbos are a gamble. Some work really well but others not so much. A friend with a Pajero runs one and has for many years. Only catch is that it has no water cooling so 5 minute run downs are a must. $300 as opposed to 1200 is worth the attempt if your wagon is a beat up bush truck but if its a showroom condition special go genuine

Hadnt run into their injector pumps. Do you have a link.
80% of the world comes from China. Even the actual brand name stuff. Then there is the stuff that has the brand name. Not all of it is fake but there is always some parts that didnt meet quality control so get thrown in the rubbish (read some workers boot) Then there is the copies which are legal as long as they dont pretend to be the actual product. So you get ini and jhj turbos etc. Some are very good some are rotten. Only way to find out which is which is buy and hope.
Same could be true of injector pumps. Remember a Chinese no name head purchased in NZ from a reputable dealer is better than a factory replacement. The real question should be are the $500 (either 500 free freight or 150 + 350 freight) purchased on ebay aliexpress etc as good? A chinese head bought in NZ will be 1600

Are you trying to convert a 4JH1 with VP44 to mechanical pump?
