4jg2 injectors.

Postby jackapoo » Mon Jul 12, 2021 6:45 pm

Hey guys. Just doing a full engine rebuild on my 4jg2t out of a 1992 Holden jackaroo. I've got a bit of money to spend on her and I'm going for some big power. But I would like to keep her fairly reliable. Where are people getting new injectors for there 3.1s? I've seen them on eBay pretty cheap, but are they any good. Or should I find a set of better ones. Also are there any options for bigger injectors ? I have seen that a guy put 4jg1 pistons, 4jb1 head and injectors on a 4jg2 block. How hard was this to do? Does it all bolt straight in or do U have to customise some stuff? Also what is the advantages and disadvantages of this? Thanks guys.

G'day Jackapoo

I've got a set of reconditioned injectors (new nozzles fitted), that I thought would help fix my smoky jack. Unfortunately it didn't, they've probably only seen 200km. I would be willing to depart from them if you wanted them still. I can also get you In Touch with someone that can source the copper washer and platinum washer if you need.
