4jb1NA rebuild to 4jb1T

Postby mackhinz » Thu Apr 14, 2022 11:27 pm

Good day, I recently bought 4jb1NA, I thought that having turbo is the only difference from 4jb1T. But upon deeper search I found that non turbo has higher compression ratio. What parts do I need to replace in my current engine to make it 4jb1T spec? Aside from changing injectors and injection pump? I want to make compound turbo setup but I think it will not possible with my current 4jb1NA. Please help me. Thank you

I think pistons and rods which will be weaker
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
