94 4jg2 radiator ATF hoses

Postby MiniMacca » Mon May 29, 2023 9:34 pm

Hey guys,

I was changing my radiator and forgot to label the atf hoses. I've just come back to it a couple days later and dont know which hose goes where.
Following the hoses back from the radiator, theres a higher metal pipe and a lower one. Was just hoping I could get clarification on which one is for the hot fluid going into the radiator and which is the cold coming out the radiator.

Cheers

Dont think it matters much but if you can the top hose from the trans should be top hose in radiator
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

I've got a rodeo radiator so both hoses are next to each other at the bottom, one comes from the left side over to the right next to a shorter one.
