4JG2 Dump pipe

Postby Tony1351 » Sat Sep 04, 2021 7:30 am

Hi will an off the shelf 2.5" dump pipe for a Rodeo 4JH1 bolt up to the factory turbo of my 4JG2?
Best Mufflers in Australia sell them.
Or if anyone knows where I can get on off the shelf? Any help appreciated Cheers

No they don't fit different size flange and the turbo is smaller than a 4jg2 i know i bought 1 from them a while back .
I'm in the process of modifying it to fit this week if i get the time to fit a 2.5" exhaust system.

Cheers for that
Not to be contradictory, but the turbo gaskets for the 4jh1 and the 4jg2 look like they are identical according to autolinkparts.com.au ?
Am I missing something?

sorry Tony i bought mine off a different exhaust shop not best mufflers i had to search for the invoice .
I bought stuff from Best mufflers for a 3" system i installed on the 94 MU i had a while back now.
They know their stuff not like this other mob i bought the 2.5" dump pipe from that i have to modify to fit the wizard now.
Make sure the dump pipe is for a down facing oil filter on the 4jg2 engine.

one more thing the dump pipe i got was for a later model- 4jb1td- engine not the 4jht so if the flange is the same size as 4jg2 turbo the dump pipe should fit.
I got a covid jab on Friday i had bad side affects wasn't thinking straight before i posted still got to get second one yet so i can keep my job not happy about it at all.
