1988 Jackaroo ECU question

Postby KirkW » Sat Mar 14, 2020 4:39 pm

Hi

Sorry I feel like a leech on this forum! I’m learning heaps as I go though so hopefully I’ll be able to contribute back soon :D

My question is are auto and manual ecu’s different? And are there a difference between years (could I use a 1990 manual ecu)?

I think I’ve narrowed my problem down to a faulty ecu but finding an exact replacement isnt proving easy.

Thanks

From what I know, manual and auto ecu are the same. The only difference is the connection only or the jumper may be for auto or manual mode
