MU ARB diff lock

Postby Diorama » Mon Aug 30, 2021 5:17 pm

Can anyone tell me if you can get an ARB diff lock for a 1996 3.1 diesel Isuzu Mu.
If not are there any other types of lockers available.

Should be able to. Its part number should be RD261 in the rear and RD203 in the front. You might be able to find a chinese copy on aliexpress but no more info.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

I just fitted a RD203 to the front diff, and the back is the older RD44 which as Geeves says may have been superceeded by the RD261.
The rear locker makes an enormous difference to the Mu, so much better than the limited slip. Its a must do. I only use the front locker as a get out of jail card. Both are Chinese imports which come with the compressor, wiring loom, switches, relays, hosing etc. www.china4x4extreme.com
If you are usings anti sway bars, then you will love the air lockers.
