When you did the body lift did you have to remount the radiator, extend steering shaft?
What sort of lift did the springs give you? I am tossing up between OME springs and shocks and something else at the moment.
Cheers
Matt.
i have a custom full aluminium rad with electric fans, if using the original tho it is a good idea to lower it, because then you can still have full function of the fan shroud and you wont have any overheating problems, or leave it were it is and put high qaulity electric fans in and get rid of the viscios one alltogether. i would go electric as you can switch them off wen going through water. my viscios fan took big gouges out of the original rad lol.
didnt have to extend steering shaft, only fuel lines and brake booster vacume hose, also the fuel filler hose if u done do a tank lift. if its manual ull have to bend the gear sticks, if its auto just loosen off the gear selector linkages before doing the lift, you may need to bend/adjust the transfer case stick to get into low4, i just cut the boot a little.
spring gave me about a 50mm lift or more as the old springs sagd heaps but they only give 40mm lift from stock/factory hight. depend what you budget allows, if i had the extra mony i would have gome ome, but the dobi springs and raw nitro shocks seem to do the job very well and wer only a fraction of the price of ome. i only paid 600 all up and ome was well over $1000.
