Bighorn in Otago, NZ

Postby Brassmonkey » Sat Apr 25, 2020 9:08 am

I'm located near Dunedin in the South Island of New Zealand. I recently acquired this Bighorn from my boss when he upgraded. It's a 95 model with 200,000 kms. It needed a little bit of work, the main job being new seals in the injector pump but its all done now. I plan on using it to explore the old Gold mining trails of Otago.

Suspension: Rear springs upgraded by previous owner
Body Lift: No
Tyres/Wheels: Standard
Traction Aids: Factory LSD
Bullbar: No
Spot lights and Lighting: Standard
Communications/GPS: UHF radio to be installed
Dual Batteries: No
Engine: $JG2
Exhaust: Standard
Sound system: JVC unit and new speakers
External: Standard
Internal: Standard
Others: Pretty much standard and ripe for modding

The tyres are Cooper Discoverer AT3 - 245/70/16. They were on when I got it, still got plenty of tread so they will stay on for a while yet.

Hopefully thats 245/70/16 A more common size and correct factory fitment. 17 profile would be fitted with a paint brush
