key code

Postby jeffwithjack » Thu Jul 01, 2021 8:08 pm

I am more familiar with the Holden KTG models, where I can find a key code on the door lock cylinders.
I am starting a project on a 89 4ZE1 Jackaroo, and would appreciate advice as to where I might find a key code in order to get some keys cut. I aquired this car without keys.

Take a lock into a locksmith. They can cut a key to the lock. Otherwise take the chassis number to the holden dealer and they should be able to find it.

Thanks Geeves. Do we still have Holden dealers?

If you cant find one try for an Isuzu dealer. Holden were supposed to support parts for 10 years or at least that was my understanding. As for Isuzu dealers we have one here in Rangiora so I stopped in for parts for my 94 Bighorn. The response "Oh sorry we only support Isuzus from 2016" My tongue might never recover from my successful attempt at being polite. Closest Holden dealer Christchurch city. I never go into the city
