Hi, can anyone assist me please. I changed the alternator on my Bighorn 1996 Plaisir, as the brakes wasnt so great, the all wheel symbol (green ) on the dash board stays on, however the gears on 2H. Also feels that it is engaged. what can the problem be???

Alternator Not sure. Do you have a lever or button to select 4wd? Do you have the diff with the free wheel inside or free wheel hubs?
You will have dislodged a wire or vac line but the only way to find it is to look

Hi Geeves,
Very thankful for your help so far, I saw that there is a thin pipe loose that goes into the breakbox, now im not sure if its from the alternator or must gonsomewhere else, is there any diagram that shows all the pipes for the breaks and that feeds the vacume system, that has wsitched on my 4x4. can you please assist me . thank you

never seen a full diagram but its all quite simple. There is one hose that goes from the injector pump to the intercooler. This is boost. All the other pipes and vaccum and should trace back to the alternator. Some go via solinoids. For the 4wd there are 2 solinoids by the diff. These have vac lines going to a diaphram on the diff and one common line that gos to a canister under the front seat then back to the alternator
