Mu to the Cape

Postby TheMuGuy » Mon Aug 24, 2015 9:55 pm

Anyone ever done the Cape trip in a Mu going up next year in my 95 Mu, will have a 2.5inch lift and 32s, really wanting to give the gunshot a go any thoughts?

I would like to see a mu doing gunshot that would be interesting many people come undone trying it changes every year after the wet season.
Last time I done the cape was in 1985 or 86 long time ago in my old land cruiser Ute I thought about doing a trip up there again 1 day but everything is so expensive up there now.

Will be doing the Cape some time this year also, but the MU will be staying home in the shed and taking the D.Max. took the boss to Toowoomba a few weeks ago and she said it was to rough and to loud for any more long trips bugger :D :) If I live in Cairns or closer no worries.

My boss is the same she reckons the Mu is to loud and uncomftable on long trips but I don't.
But she loves the wizard to ride in on trips says its a lot quieter and more room in it.

I did the cape 2012 in the Jackaroo broke a tie rod so busted a cv. I have auto locker in front diff. I always suggest a spare tie rod being a long way from home.
